How to Use Whemo
Whemo is a note-taking app that lets you record and organize information by linking who said what and when. You can label notes by speaker or category, making it easy to search and create your own personalized collections.
Managing Your Notes
Whemo offers simple management features so you can quickly find the information you need.
Creating a Note
Tap the [Memo] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Make sure you’re on the main screen (no back button in the top left).

2. Confirm that the green text box and [+] button are visible — this is where you’ll create a new note.

3.Tap the text box to bring up the keyboard.

4. Once you’ve entered your note, tap the [+] button.

5. In the “Who said that” field, enter the name of the speaker.

6. Tap Enter to save.

That’s it! Your note is now saved.

Editing a Note
1. Tap the [Memo] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
※ Make sure you’re on the main screen (no back button in the top left).

2. I-2-②: Find the note you want to edit and tap the [>>] button in the bottom right corner of the note.

3.Tap the Full Text area to make your edits.

When you’re done, tap the [<<] button to return to the memo screen and check that your changes were saved.。

Your note is now updated.

Deleting a Note
1. Tap the [Memo] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
※ Make sure you’re on the main screen (no back button in the top left).

2. Find the note you want to delete and tap the [>>] button in the bottom right corner of the note.

3.Tap the trash icon in the bottom right of the Full Text area.

4.Tap Delete to confirm.

Your note has now been removed — keeping your space organized and clutter-free.
Managing Speakers
By registering speakers, you can easily link notes to the people who said them and search by speaker.
Registering a Speaker
1. Tap the [Who] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
※ Make sure you’re on the main screen (there should be no back button in the top left).

2. At the top of the screen, make sure you see the image icon, a text box labeled “Name”, a save icon, and a trash icon. This is where you’ll register a speaker.

3.Tap the “Name” text box to bring up the keyboard and enter the person’s name.

4. Tap the image icon to open the image selection screen, and choose a photo of the speaker.

5.Adjust the crop area if needed, then tap Select in the bottom right corner to confirm.

6. Make sure the selected image now appears in the image icon area and the name is filled in correctly.

7. Tap the save icon in the top right corner to complete registration.

8. The newly registered speaker will now appear in your list.

Now you can easily link notes to this person.
Creating a Note Linked to a Speaker
1. Tap the [Memo] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Make sure you’re on the main screen (no back button in the top left).

2. Confirm that the green text box and [+] button are visible. This is where you’ll create a new note.

3.Tap the text box to open the keyboard and enter your note.

4.Tap the [+] button once you’ve finished typing.

5. In the “Who said that” field, enter the speaker’s name.

6.Tap Enter to save the note.

Your note is now saved and linked to the speaker.
Changing the Speaker on a Note
1. Tap the [Memo] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
※Ensure you’re on the main screen (no back button).

2. Tap the speaker’s image on the note you want to edit.

3. A “Who said that” text field will appear. Enter or select the new speaker.

4.After updating, check the memo screen to confirm the new speaker is displayed.

The speaker has now been updated for that note.
Linking an Existing Note to a Speaker
1. Tap the [Memo] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
※ Make sure you’re on the main screen (no back button).

2. Tap the image icon on the note.

3. The “Who said that” field will appear. Enter or select the speaker you want to link.

4.Confirm the new speaker info is reflected at the top of the memo screen.

Your note is now linked to a speaker.
Viewing Notes by Speaker
1. Tap the [Who] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
※ Make sure you’re on the main screen (no back button).

2. On the speaker list, tap the [>>] button next to the person you want to view.

3. All notes linked to that speaker will be displayed.

Now you can easily review what each person has said.
Managing Speakers
Keeping your speaker list up to date by editing or deleting entries helps you maintain a clean and organized workspace in Whemo.
Deleting a Speaker
1. Tap the [Who] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
※ Make sure you’re on the main screen (no back button in the top left).

2. From the speaker list, tap the [>>] button next to the person you want to delete.

3. On the speaker’s detail screen, tap the trash icon in the top right corner.

4. A confirmation message will appear asking, “Are you sure you want to delete this user?” — tap Delete to confirm.
Note: Deleting a speaker will also remove all notes linked to that person, so please proceed with caution.

The speaker has now been removed from Whemo.
Changing a Speaker’s Image
1. Tap the [Who] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Ensure you’re on the main screen (no back button).

2. Tap the current image of the speaker you want to update.

3. The image selection screen will open. Choose a new image from your library.

4. Adjust the cropping area as needed, then tap Select in the bottom right corner to confirm.

5. Make sure the new image appears correctly.

That’s it — the speaker’s image has been successfully updated.

Adding a Label to a Note
You can tag notes with labels to help organize them by category.
Adding a Label to a Note
1.Tap the [Memo] tab from the bottom navigation bar.
Make sure you’re on the home screen (no back button in the top left).

2. Tap the label icon at the top left corner of the note you want to tag.

3. Choose a label color from the list that appears.

4. Once selected, the label will be automatically applied to the note.

Your note is now categorized and easier to manage.

Creating a New Label
1. Tap the [Label] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Make sure you’re on the main screen (no back button).

2.Tap the [More] button.

3. On the “Label Edit” screen, tap the pencil icon next to where you’d like to add a label.

4. Type your new label name in the text box.

5. The label will be saved and become immediately usable.

6. Tap the [<<] back button, and you’ll see your new label on the main Label screen.

Viewing Notes by Label
1. Tap the [Label] tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Confirm you’re on the home screen (no back button).

2.Tap the [>>] button next to the label you want to view.

3. A list of all notes associated with that label will be displayed.

This lets you browse your notes by category with ease.

Removing Labels from Notes
1. Tap the [Label] tab from the bottom navigation bar.
Ensure you’re on the home screen (no back button).

2. Tap the [>>] button next to the label you want to reset.

3. Tap the trash icon in the top right corner.

4. Tap [Reset] in the confirmation message. This will unassign the label from all associated notes.

Your label has now been reset.
Deleting a Label
1. Tap the [Label] tab from the bottom navigation bar.
Ensure you’re on the home screen (no back button).

2. Tap the [More] button.

3. Tap the pink trash icon next to the label you want to delete.

4.Back on the [Label] screen, tap the [>>] button next to the label you just deleted.

5. Tap the trash icon in the top right corner.

6. Tap [Reset] in the confirmation dialog. This will remove the label from all connected notes.

The label will now be fully removed.
Note: The label is deleted, but the notes themselves will remain.
Setting Up Push Notifications for Your Notes
You can choose to have your favorite notes appear as push notifications on your lock screen.
Enable Push Notifications for a Note
1.Tap the [Memo] tab from the bottom navigation bar.
Make sure you’re on the home screen (there should be no back button in the top left).
2. Tap the bell icon at the top right of the note you want to be notified about.
3.Once the bell turns yellow, push notifications are enabled.
Your selected note will now be randomly shown as a notification on your lock screen.
Turn Off Push Notifications
1. Tap the [Bell] tab in the bottom navigation bar.

2. A list of notes currently set for notifications will appear in chronological order。

3. Tap the bell icon next to the note you want to turn off.

When the bell turns gray, push notifications for that note are disabled.

How to subscribe to the plan
Tap the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.。

2. Tap “Premium Plan (In-App Purchase)”, which is the second option from the top.。

3.Tap “¥250/month” to start your subscription.

That’s all—you’re all set.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
If You’re Using Apple (iOS)
1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your Apple ID (your name) at the top.
3. Select “Subscriptions.”
4. Find and tap “Whemo” from the list.
5. Tap “Cancel Subscription” and follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: Be sure to cancel at least one day before your next billing date to avoid being charged.
If You’re Using Android (Google Play)
1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
2. Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
3. Tap “Payments & Subscriptions,” then “Subscriptions.”
4. Find and tap “Whemo.”
5. Tap “Cancel Subscription” and follow the on-screen steps.
Make sure to cancel at least one day before your next billing date to stop the subscription in time.
